Frioul islands: all the pleasures of the sea

Frioul islands: all the pleasures of the sea

Composed of two islands linked by a dyke to form a port, the Frioul archipelago offers an abundance of protected natural treasures for you to discover and respect: creeks, beaches, the sea bed, and animal and plant species are there for everyone to enjoy.

You can also see some architectural remains, and relax in one of the restaurants overlooking the port.

Frioul is also a natural protected area

The Frioul islands are home to some remarkable vegetation and birds, which are protected at European level.

We therefore ask visitors:

 -  to walk on the marked paths,

 - to cycle only in the village and on the path leading to the "Hôpital Caroline" site,

 - to comply with the rules prohibiting bivouacs and camping.

Thank you for helping us to preserve our common heritage and the wilderness of the islands by respecting the environment.
